Following the reorganisation of the CAMRA regions the Cheltenham branch has left the South West Region and is now part of the new West Central region together with the rest of the Gloucestershire branches and those in Herefordshire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire.
Brett Laniosh as Acting Regional Director is helping set up the region which will be based on a county model with county co-ordinators liaising over the important regional issues such as Good Beer Guide submissions and Pub and Club of the year competitions.
Peter Bennetts is the Gloucestershire County Co-ordinator for the region and acts as a conduit between the Gloucestershire branches and sub branches and the regional director.
