CAMRA Gwent Branch will be running the bar at the Tredegar House Folk Festival on the outskirts of Newport (9-11th May) and we’re putting the call out for volunteers. I would be grateful if you could forward this onto your branch members.
It’s a fun festival and many of the acts are free to watch (some of the larger acts need a paid ticket). Everyone who volunteers gets the chance to have a wander around; some people choose to only do a specific shift, so they can spend the rest of the day enjoying the acts and some people camp for the whole weekend and volunteer for a shift or two each day. The choice is yours (check out the festival at the above link)!
If you’re interested in volunteering at the festival, please fill in our form (link below). If you’re interested in doing an evening shift (we always need more people for these shifts) but you’re worried about transport, we will be providing taxis back to Newport central train and bus stations (after local buses have stopped running for the evening). Please let us know if you would need this, in the last box on the signup form.
