Help CAMRA build strong relationships with breweries across the region
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and well-organised volunteer to become the CAMRA West Central Brewery Liaison Co-ordinator (BLC).
This is a key role within CAMRA, supporting and coordinating our Brewery Liaison Officers (BLOs) and helping ensure that accurate, up-to-date brewery and beer information is available for CAMRA’s publications and campaigns.
You’ll build constructive relationships with volunteers and breweries, support and mentor BLOs, help maintain brewery and beer information in CAMRA’s systems, and work closely with the Regional Director, Tasting Panels and Champion Beer of Britain team.
You’ll also represent the region on the Brewery Liaison Advisory Group (BLAG) and contribute to CAMRA’s work supporting and promoting the brewing industry.
What are we looking for?
You’ll need good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, together with access to a computer and the internet. An interest in breweries and beer is important. Knowledge of CAMRA’s tasting panels, beer styles or Champion Beer of Britain is useful, but training and support are available.
If you enjoy working with people, have an interest in breweries and want to make a real contribution to CAMRA’s work, this could be the volunteer role for you!
