On 23rd October 2026 the Brewhouse and Kitchen in Cheltenham’s Brewery quarter will have a new name. As part of a nationwide policy to give chain’s pubs more local feel the recently refurbished pub will become The Landed Eagle
The new name is inspired by Cheltenham sporting legend, Eddie the Eagle Edwards. Eddie, who opened the pub’s brewery, back in 2016 also lends his name to one of the pub’s beers.
While the name above the door is changing the microbrewery remains and it will continue brewing its craft beer on site.
The Landed Eagle will be the second pub in town named after Eddie joining The Eagle Social Tap on the High Street.
