On the first Saturday of every month, Gloucestershire Archives, have an open day where they focus on one historic theme and invite speakers and stands from organisations/societies, have a relevant historical document display and offer refreshments, etc.

On Saturday 3 October, the theme will be ‘Cheers! Good Health! ” and is all about Gloucestershire breweries, their history and the history of beer and brewing in Gloucestershire.

The event runs from 1pm to 4pm and they usually get from 80-100 people attending these events.
