Last week (Thursday 27th August), Siren Craft Brew launched its latest Crowdfunder campaign to support the launch of the brewery’s new venue in Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter.
And, just a few days in, Crowdfunder contributions have already hit 25% of the £100,000 target, which is a huge, positive step forward.

How it works: Contribute a minimum of £50, and for every £1 pledged toward the target, you get £1.50 back to spend. Rewards will be delivered in January 2027, to be used within 18 months, and can also be redeemed through Siren Craft Brew’s online shop.

Additional rewards for higher contributions include merchandise, exclusive events, your name on the wall and the chance to design and brew your own beer.

Why Cheltenham?: Siren Craft Brew is excited to bring its own flavour of hospitality to the Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham. Fittingly, it’s a site that was home to the town’s first commercial brewery for over 230 years. Nowadays it’s a destination offering entertainment, dining and shopping.

The idea came about in March this year, following the unfortunate news that BrewDog had entered administration, causing the closure of 38 venues and 484 job losses. When Siren Craft Brew posted on social media to offer support to these teams and former crowdfunding investors, a swell of comments came back, with many suggestions to look at the space in Cheltenham.

We were hugely impressed with the Brewery Quarter team and their vision, and felt Siren could keep modern beer as a key feature of the development. Knowing first hand how much the BrewDog venues are missed, and the talented, passionate people who were affected, Siren is hoping to make something positive from such a hard situation.
