PRINCE OF WALES, Portland Street — Cheltenham Borough Council has given developers permission to convert the Prince of Wales pub into eight flats. The pub itself will not be demolished, although some outbuildings at the rear will be. The Council has stated that work cannot start until the developers have given them details of new railings to go at the front and samples of two walls they intend to build at the rear. The pub will be repainted to match the buildings either side.
