We are pleased to announce the winners of our 2025 Pub, Cider Pub and Club of the Year competitions.
The winners were decided at our business meeting on 26th February using the results of the member votes and beer scores submitted via What Pub over the past 12 months. Thank you to all those members who sent in votes for the Pub of the year competition and have submitted beer scores over the past year.
Pub of the Year was won by The Sandford Park Alehouse. The former National pub of the year regains the branch award it last won in 2023 and recognises the hard work that the team have put in over the past year.
Cider Pub of the Year was won this year by The Strand. The award regonise the efforts the pub has made to promote real cider alongside its extensive beer range.
Club of the Year was won once again by The Cheltenham Motor Club. The CMC are three times National Club of the Year and never rest on their laurels but continue to offer at least 5 real ales and a real cider.
Congratulations to Richard, Nichola, and Neil and all their hard working staff on winning their respective awards.
The winners now go forward to the regional round of the respective national competitions. This is our first year in the West Central region and will fight it out against the other Gloucestershire branch winners to then potentially to be judged against the winners of Oxfordshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire for the regional titles.
