Former North Cotswold  CAMRA 2018 pub of the year runner up is under threat of redevelopment.

The owner of the Craven Arms in Brockhampton has closed the once thriving pub and applied to convert it into a residential property.  There are also potentially plans for building on the car park (footings for a house were put in 18 years ago).

The closure of any pub is a tragedy especially as this is the only pub in the village. No efforts have been made to sell the pub and locals are reported to be barred from purchasing it. The parish council have submitted an ACV.
