Saturday 5th April there will be an ale amble to Chepstow.
This is a lovely town on the borders with a castle and river. We have been here before but on a weekday. The best pub here in my opinion is the Queens Head which is a micro pub and opens from 2pm on a Saturday. Obviously, there are a few more pubs to visit!
We shall be getting the 11.15 from Cheltenham which arrives in Chepstow at 11.53. Our first pub will be the Bell Hanger – Wetherspoons. Our train back will be 18.17. With a railcard, an off peak day return is £10.95.
