On Wednesday 14th August we will be venturing to Weston soon on our annual trip to the seaside.  Our first pub will be the Fork N Ale, 18 Walliscote Road,  which officially opens at 11.30 but the landlord just told me he is opening at 11am at the moment because of the increase in numbers of people in Weston.  Onwards then to the Duke of Oxford, etc.  Fish N chips by the Pier is on the cards.

Train times:

Out:  9.52 Cheltenham, arriving in Weston at 11.20am.

Back:  17.44, arriving Cheltenham 19.12

(There are, of course, other trains if you so wish but this one gets you back in time for the Cider Pub of the Year presentation at the Jolly Brewmaster.)
