Gloucestershire Branch will be presenting Ali & Rob Brady with a brace of certificates recording their win of Stroud Club of the Year and subsequently Gloucestershire Branch Club of the Year, at the Chalford Sports & Social Club, Highfield Way, France Lynch, Chalford Hill GL6 8LZ at 3pm Sunday 1st June 2025.

Rob Brady runs the Good Beer Company, a leading local wholesaler that supplies varied and interesting cask ales from a wide roster of breweries up and down the country to some of the best public houses in the area so we are guaranteed some good beer.

To make it a bit more of an event we plant to make use of the skittle alley for a game of killer as we have done in previous years. For those that may not know the game involves, £1 in the pot, winner takes all, you start with three lives and to stay in the game you just need to knock at least one pin down on your turn. Miss and you lose a life. The game starts with nine pins up and pins are only reset when all are knocked down.

The Chalford Club now fights it out with our own Cheltenham Motor Club to be Gloucestershire County Club and proceed in the regional competition
